Can someone tell me where the fill port is on this thing?

Hopefully you got a good laugh out of that. I pulled this out of my “not used very much safe” today and noticed it was oxidized pretty badly. I bought this rifle new about 27 years ago and used it quite a bit for crow patrol at a local farm back then. I couldn’t even guess how many crows and squirrels were brought down with this .177, it was a small game’s nightmare with 8 pumps. I decided to give it a little TLC, it now looks almost as good as when I pulled it out of the box new. I’ll post a close up before and after picture below so you can see what it looked like when I started working on it.

It looks like you did a great job Cannonball. Are the seals still good? It's always very satisfying bringing an old gun back to life. I'm currently restoring an old shotgun that was sitting in an attic for forty years.

They are and haven’t ever been replaced. I always pump it twice after shooting if I think it’s going to be stored for some time.

@jstamper, can't comment on accuracy compared to budget springer/break barrel GAMO, but my 392 .22cal, shoots 1-¾ groups at 25yrds. iron sights. They are capable of even greater accuracy with peep sights, or scoped. None of the hold sensitivity. There are some on this forum that achieve amazing groups with their springer/break barrels and swear by them.
