I priced out Ernest’s RRS tripod setup which I like, but it adds up to around the $1000 mark so thanks for letting us know a cheaper option edosan.
The picitinny rail to camera adaptor aren’t very common so I would be interested where you sourced it from?

In normal benchrest competition is forbidden to use anything attached to your gun but a bipod, tripod is banned, guess RMAC has some locals rules (if that pic is from there). As soon as I get in front of my pc I will post details.

This is how I do it (I will not add links, just go and search since the post is automatic deleted if I add links)
I bought from AlieExpress: Manbily DT-01C (but you can use any similar tripod on ebay or amazon) US$85
Description:
Manbily DT-01C Mini Table Carbon Fibre Tripod Perfectly for Mirroless Cellphone, Gorpo Compact Camera shooting Easy to Carrying
Then I bought from Ebay: Set of 2 Quick Release Detach $10 bucks +-
You actually need 1, but those are handy!
Finally if you do not have it, get a tap and die set for 14 bucks or so: Standard METRIC Tap and Die Set (or borrow one)
The only mod that you need to do is make a hole in the QR 3 slot picatinny and make the threads, do not remember what thread is, but with the set is easy to figure it out (m7x1 probably), and that is all! top notch table tripod! took me less than 5 minutes to make it.
