Anyone know what i gotta do to smoothen out the cocking and firing cycle on this platform? The gun is new but I'm a pcp shooter, so it feels rough to me.

Ddransoml, welcome to the world of real reality. What you feel is the nature of the beast. The search function is your friend. Searce "artillery hold" and how to shoot Springer's. Once you understand the artillery hold concept it will tighten your pcp groups also. The key concept is trigger time. You have to figure out what works. Have at it.

IF you had a bad seal it would be very violent, but you would certainly notice so we'll think it's all just fine inside.
Sounds like the nature of the beast. Gas ram's esp. magnum powered have a very sharp jolt, more so than the same rifle with a spring ( you could go with a spring but you'd be better off just trading).
Think of all that motion as " crisp" "spring" .
You could let a bit of psi out.

Im acutally cool with the "WHUMP" firing harmonics...it's the rough cocking that i want to smoothen out. Like a part i can polish or replace that's characteristic to this platform...seems not too many people have tinkered with the RX2 on any of the forums.

you may need to take some pressure out of the ram. I did, and she is smooth, still accurate and easy to cock.
