Beeman R1 20 year Commemorative

Could not resist adding this one to the hoard. Beeman R1 20 Year Anniversary edition, just 50 were produced in 1992 only. .20 caliber two tone finish. Came with the original box, paper work, muzzle weight, trigger shoe, Beeman Blue Ribbon 54R scope and even a 20 year anniversary soft case. It'll go nicely with my other R1's...

I had a chance to acquire one of those and a RX Commemorative about six years ago. Kick myself for not buying the RX. It was in really nice condition too. The R1 was a little beaten up so was not heartbroken over that one. Anyway, a real nice find. Now if you can get your hands on a R1 custom shop you'll be really close to a complete collection. I know you don't like the R1-AW or R-1 Laser MKIII, but you might want to consider if you can find them. Did you just buy this gun?

Great purchase and special find. I really enjoy both of my R1’s, one is .177 (San Rafael) the other is .20 (Santa Rosa), of the two I really enjoy the .20 cal more.

I hope to add a .22 in the near future and possibly a .25 just to have one in each caliber. These two will also need to be the older variants from San Rafael or Santa Rosa.

The scope and breadth of DMM's collection is truly breathtaking. From his exposure on this forum, I would venture to say that he is the best known hard-core collector we have. So when someone has a really nice collectible gun they need to move, it would make sense to reach out to him. These highly collectible guns seldom make it to auction sites. However some do, as seen by the Dual Magnum Theoben that just sold on Fleabay for $2000. I am sure he would have a pretty good network of contacts. I might be wrong but just my opinion.
