I opted for an HW40. Just can’t escape the aura of the German craftsmanship. That said, it was a replacement for an Beeman P1 and a Weihrauch HW75. Both were returned within a two month period because of defects. So perhaps that aura has been a bit tainted recently. However .. the HW40 has turned out to be a solid shooter, and $200 cheaper than the other two. Go figure.
