Beeman Crow Mag in .20cal

Working a deal right now for this baby!

I've Wanted a Crow Magnum/Theoben Eliminator for years now and it always seems everytime I see one for sale I just cant let go of the funds. But its looking like my luck has changed!!! It's a Huntington beach era gun which I think makes it Mk111 and it's set up to shoot 24fpe. Just in time for the new JSB heavies that are supposed to be released this month.....cant wait to get it my hands!

VERY nice rifle, James.

Hope you enjoy it immensely!

Just wanted to share a bit of info about those that might help at some point. I had an HW90 and a friend had the Crow Mag, both in .20. First his, then later mine had the accuracy go completely to crap. I sold mine, regrettably, because I could never figure it out but he kept his. Ended up being an accumulation of burnt lube in the breech. A man named John Whiscomb was making custom high powered recoilless springers and having the same problem. On his and the Crow Mag, you would have to scrub the barrels every 50 to 100 shots. He designed a lube (Whiscomb lube ) that was a mix of easily available lubes that didn't diesel and would extend the cleaning interval.

IF you end up with that issue, you might do some research on the pellet lube.

Anyway ... great rifles!

Great info and I'll check that out for sure!

And thank you I hope it's all I think it is...

James from Michigan,

I bought my .22 cal back around 1999-2000. Very picky on pellets and the brown box Crosman Premiers at 14.3 gr were the most accurate in my gun. Mine was putting out 26 FPE with those pellets. Hard to cock and harsh to shoot. Curious to see some chrony results on yours.

I'll be sure to post them this weekend.

I've had some real beastly springers in the past and know you have to learn the rifle to be accurate with them. One that came from Rich from Michigan that I regret selling. A Gamo hunter extreme in .20 that was doing about 26fpe. Took crows out to 100 yards from a good rest.

Well its here and holy cocking effort batman!!!!

Only shot it once out the back door when it arrived this afternoon and it hit right where I was aiming at about 25 yards with a Crosman Premier. The gun is in really good shape except for a crack in the bottom of the recoil pad. Not a big deal and I'll be replacing it very soon and fitting will not be problem either. I've replaced dozens in my gun smithing days in Florida!

Anyway I'm going to get to range tomorrow for some chrony numbers and pellet testing so I'll be back with some more pics too.

And it is the exotic Hyedua extremely hardwood stock!
