Interesting ! Like to see pics of the Daystate. Not trying to steal your thread.

Nice rifle ! What city is it stamped?

LOL ! I know some get upset when discussions deviate from a threads topic. I have never owned any Spanish airgun with a Beeman stamp. I've owned a Beeman C1 carbine. A Beeman R10 carbine. Then had a R1 for awhile. All in .177cal. Then around 1990 or so I got interested in Beeman coming out with a new gas-spring sporter. Sold the R1 and got the new Beeman RX in 5mm. Probably still my favorite rifle to date. Had to take the rifle to Santa Rosa because it had a hang-fire issue. They repaired it and upgraded it to a RX1. But then I got caught up in the last for power and got a Beeman Crow Magnum III in .22cal. Hard rifle to shoot accurately but plenty of punch. Sold it and didn't have any airguns for 15 years. My history with Beeman.

The Mako has Huntington Beach on it and made in UK. The MKI was made from 1995-2002, the MKII from 2003-2006. Slight deviations on my post are fine but when there is a PCP discussion on a post about piston guns then I take issue or mentioning 6 times the SAME rifle and insisting it's the BEST, etc.

As you know I love the Beeman "brand", saw it as a teen and I was hooked. Did not really know that much about them being just an importer. Nonetheless they did wonders for airgunning in the US and I much prefer some of their stocks variants compared to the Euro versions. Here's some of my Beeman marked guns...

Do a YouTube search on HW 90 trigger adjustment. Or GTA search. Very light And not very adjustable is a thing. One guy tears his down completely and sees almost no adjustability. That’s exactly how mine is. About 5 ounces single stage. I have adjusted in both directions in qtr turns Until maxed in both directions. No luck. It is called the elite trigger. A lot have complained about it.

In my case my Theoben Eliminator in .25 has the worst air rifle trigger of all and the rifle cost me over a thousand to get in 1999. I shot about 2000 rounds before I got the trigger "just right" and you are right as in the case of little room for adjustment!

Yes it's a light trigger and the adjustments allow a harder pull that won't allow accuracy and a too light pull that can't feel the last sear properly before it fires.

I think the Gas Ram piston is the ultimate obstacle for any Gas Ram trigger that's SAFE.
