shot some groups this evening with the raw in 357 tonight ,still amazing how good this gun shoots its not a new one but still amazing the build quality ,put these groups up at 30 yards , tried at 100 today but the wind and the heat did not let me get any groups worth sharing; here is the ones at 30 yards, will try again after seeing camp Fuesells groups eariler, heres a few pics . Ya went to the desert yesterday ; the wind did not seem to bad set up the target at 103 yards shot some groups was pushing pellets around 3 mils or more and i think the heat was causing up and douwn drafts 😃could not get any consent groups it usually groups real good at 50yards and farther crazy how it pushes those 81grain pellets around its one of the nicest looking stocks i have seen will try again at a later date hard to see the holes at that distance 😃

Bob, what scope setup are you using? I use a Sightron SIII 10-50x60 on 30 power and can see the pellet holes pretty clearly.

My last 50 yds out to the 100 yd mark is pretty dense with tall pine trees blocking out a lot of the sun and this scope lets in enough light for me to see really clear.

I've never shot in the desert before. Plus you're dealing with mirage?

Look forward to your targets when ya get a nice day to shoot!

Bob, I had a Hawke 8-32x56 Sidewinder. Just wasn't very clear to me? A good scope can make a world of difference.

As if the three Sightron SIII's that I have aren't expensive enough, I'd like to have one of the Sightron SV versions with the ED Glass

Also this Nightforce has my eye. But I could buy the three Sightrons that I have for the cost of one of these?

I can't help ya on getting more power out of your RAW, maybe someone in the know will chime in. Good luck with the hunt!
