Had to take it advantage of a beautiful windless warm day in northeastern Oklahoma. We only get about three of those a year. LOL.

I know it’s not quite June but it’s never too early to start. Mark and I went down to the pasture to zero and test out to 100,150, and to 200 yards. I remember from last year most of our Pdog kills were inside the 150 but this year, we want to stretch it out.

However, the pasture had residual amounts of rain and limited us to us to 150.

We set clay targets at 100 and 150 yards with a few hung on the fence posts at 165. We had our zero check target at 50.

The zero target is the first small circle in the foreground. The next circle is 100 and the far circle is 150. The fence is 165. Shooting clays at 100 was no real challenge so we focused on 150 and the 165. We took our taipans ( Mark is shooting a 25 standard and I used a 25 short) we were easily hitting them at 150 usually two out of three shots and decided tomorrow, if the weather holds out and is not windy, we would re-zero at 75 or maybe 100 and see what the results are stretched out to 200.

I also took my 25 impact and 25 Vulcan. I hope to have my 25 cricket back from Charlie Frear by the end of the week. Anxious to try it. Charlie has been experimenting with porting and is getting 65FPE out of a 25!
