Got up early and got all my yard work done, took a motorcycle ride, started laundry then settled down for a relaxing session of shooting on this beautiful day! :)

Don't mean to be negative here....but this is the 4th weekend in a row with 15-20 mph continuous winds. It's beautiful out but I'm wanting to work on my barrel indexing and need calm weather..

Hoping tomorrow will be calm. It's been so windy that I've started getting up super early to shoot right at sunrise before heading to work and it's been calm. Also a good way to the day before the stress of work, so all good. Just seems when the weekend rolls around it's wind X10.

To you guys with great weather....you deserve it!

I'll get there.

Hang in there KP in NC. The calm sunny days will get there eventually.

We had a downpour all then of a sudden, then the sky opened up and it was fantastic outside with warmth and a slight breeze. I waited for things to dry up some then headed out to sling some lead with my PP700SA (Art).

I was having a great time with my wife by my side as I sent lead down range. Two of my daughters showed up from work and volunteering. The oldest one (20) asks, as she I walking towards us, “Is that the gun I shot the other day?”. I said “Yes it is”. She asked if she could take a few shots. What’s a dad to do? I moved over and she took over. She took a couple shots and missed at 30 yards then I gave her the secret holdover code and she began knocking those spinners for a loop.... literally. She shot the rest of the fill down to where the pellets were no longer hitting the target. She was with us maybe 15-20 minutes just shooting a few with us. Great times!

Awesome. My daughter doesnt shoot much recreationally, but put a deer within 300 yards and its over. Not to be sexist but i have learned that in general women are better precision shooters than men overall. Patience. Attention to detail. Willingness to hold off if its not perfect. When i used to teach defensive pistol it was always the women shooting better groups.

I used to bowhunt with a couple guys who owned a archery shop, they both said that women were easier to teach the basics of bow shooting. They said women paid better attention and did as instructed whereas most men already had preconceived ideas (they already knew what they were doing) about how to shoot a bow.

It's 5/02/19 and the forecast for this weekend....RAIN. plus10 mph winds. This makes 5 weekends in a row with rain and or high winds. During the week while I'm at work....sunny and calm for the most part. Last weekend we had over 20 mph continuous winds. They finally died 30 minutes before sunset on Sunday.

Guess I'm saving money on air and pellets but someone cut us a break in NC.
