BB trap ideas for Sig P365 practice.

@sirgilbert357

The rags inside were untouched... Just shook them out and collected the spent pellets. The mesh bag (lingerie bag I stole from the wife) is getting ratty but holding up (2k rounds). I'll replace next clean out.
These bags are Dollar Tree cheap.

Interesting. I may have to try this kind of pellet trap too, LOL. I know my version is super cheap, but the wood backer is heavy since the container I chose is too big. I'm going to try something new this weekend. Thanks for the ideas!

Look to www.bbpellettrap.com. It’s not a cheap thing, but a very high quality one and it seems to be enough for the rest of my life. I'm shooting BBs, pellets (rifle 7,5 J too) and sometimes like to play with airsoft replicas. I'm happy that You can use your Sig P365. I had to discard this replica due to a co2 leak through the valve.

Ouch, 150 euros? Hey, good for you -- it's your money, spend it how you want.

I just spent 20 USD on a 5 gallon storage container and a bag of rubber mulch. It will stop anything up to a .22 LR and possibly a 9mm (I'm told). It's also quiet. The pellet going through the paper target is the loudest part.

Really happy with it so far. Thanks to intenseaty22 for the video on this kind of pellet trap! After shooting into it for an evening, I popped the lid and had a look. Most of the pellets were close to the top and easily visible. The rubber mulch seems to soak up their energy very quickly. They didn't go very deep at all. I think this is going to last a REALLY long time and could easily handle high power .22 PCPs -- if I ever get one of those. When I've shot up the mulch enough that it settles some, I have another couple of scoops left over from the first bag to top off. More bags of mulch are 8 bucks. I'll be taking this out to the country this weekend to test out the .22 LR powder burner on it. I don't see why it wouldn't handle those rounds too. If I shoot through the pellet trap, a new storage bin is 10 bucks. Oh well. It'll be a cool experiment.
