The specs for the new Dreamline Compact Tactical show it, and the "extended" version to both have a 500mm barrel in .22 caliber. Does anyone out there know the correct specs for the compact (not extended model)? The picture appears to preclude the possibility of a 500mm barrel in the compact non-extended version. To my eyes anyway. I really hope that the barrel is short and has a fixed, fully functioning shroud/moderator.

Well, I wonder if they intend to make the non- folding version shown on their website, the folding version, or both. I am probably in the minority on this one, but I like the looks of the non-folding version better.

It looks like a simple option using a folding or collapsible stock. 400 mm works out about 15 3/4" add the receiver probably finish up with a folded version 23" or so, compared to Leshiy that comes in folded at less that 16". This platform is going to be ala carte feast offering many options.

The .22cal barrel is a 380mm size. Where as the .25cal is a 480mm barrel. Its not understood when they advertise it. So, if you want a shorter rifle order .22cal. I wanted over 40 foot pounds and I ordered the .25cal. Dreamline Tact Compact.

Mine is a .25cal 480mm barrel slightly longer than the photo when you see one. It's at bar 150 and 830FPS. I ordered some Hades .25cal which are to be delivered later today(Friday Dec 6). It's a very light rifle and I'm using a Leupold Ultra lightweight scope. Ive only shot at 40 yards and the accuracy is super good. It appears 35-40 shots off the mini tank that comes with it. Of course I'm shooting a .25cal so you might get more shots if you ordered .22cal. Mine has a loud bark so I will run a Sumo or Ronin for my backyard. I'm understanding that because its not at 900FPS and due to the short barrels , Slug shooting is not available according to two dealers who handle FX.
All my shooting will be backyard and small critters under 100 yards. So far, I don't believe I will have any problems.
