Barrel harmonics

I have seen barrel tuners that have to do with changing barrel harmonics. I wonder iif changing the position of your barrel band would affect harmonics?

Anything you do to the barrel or how it is supported changes the harmonics. Even changing the pellet/slug changes the harmonics which is (partly) why some projectiles shoot better than others. This old thread I did a couple of years ago (when I was OldSpook) might be interesting to you.

Anything you do to a gun can affect the harmonics. Think of a tuning fork that's used in music, when you strike the fork to produce the sound if it is touched anywhere the pitch (harmonics) changes. Some changes may be so minor they may not even make a noticeable difference but the change is there weather you noticed or not.
