A simple question, has anyone ever noticed this: pellet spiraling after a barrel cleaning ??
My problem is that I have a 48 cm long .25 CZ barrel and I was using the 25.39 gr JSB with really good accuracy. I wanted to try the heavier king MK II for longer shooting and proceeded to a barrel cleaning before shooting them. The accuracy was there with these pellets but I noticed I needed adjustable mounts to zero where I want the rifle to be zeroed with them so I decided to go back to the standard kings, shooting at the same velocity BUT pellets are now spiraling. Dafuq ??!!
Another issue is that I'm using strelok +. It is extremely accurate when I shoot with the 25.29 gr king, the pellet hits exactly where strelok tells me it should hit. Then, when I set everything up for the 33.95 gr JSB, accuracy is gone, I'm having a 3 dots of holdover difference between the app and the actual POI. I tried several different BC and I'm working with a chrony ( 272 mps for the 25.39 gr and 242 mps for the 33.95 gr).
