Barn storming: A pigeon problem

I was invited by my friend @reynoldsgl67 to join him on a pigeon irradiation session happening at a dairy farm. This farm is having big issues with all the poop in the feed and all over the equipment and Garry and his team makes regular visits to get it under control. I showed up with my FX Impact X in .22 and Garry brought his FX Crown X in .25 and we worked the pigeons through 3 large barns like over 130 yards long large.

I will be putting together a video of the shoot but here are some photos to hold you's over until the video is edited and uploaded. Which reminds me, this video will be an AIRGUN101.COM exclusive, I will not be posting it on YouTube or Vimeo. I will share the details once they become available.

Thanks for the invite @reynoldsgl67 and the fun!

Just curious did you shoot most from inside the the barns or on the outside. If inside were you shooting at a lower fps to avoid damage or just made shots with good back stops. And of course awesome take and shooting of pigeons. Bill

Almost all the kills were inside the barns. We dialed the power down and always made sure that there was a solid backstop for each shot.

Thanks for the response. I was curious what fpe and pellets you were using. I tend to like using the H&N Terminators inside buildings. Their flat head cuts a nice hole in birds and I believe they flattens out on structure well. I mainly use my FX Verminator when there are lots of pests to kill with its large air tank with power set on level two for about 13 fpe and about 150 plus shots per fill. My other favorite inside critter getter is the Leshiy in .22 cal with the Terminators again. This gun is just so small, light and handy to carry around. Bill

@AirgunBill

In the FX Impact X .22 I used Skenko Ultra Shock 16.66 grain. If you watched my "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OD_h-abSZlg" Video you will how these projectiles essentially turn into a sombrero on impact. The Crown .25 Caliber flew JSB 25.39 grainers.
Yeah that Leshiy is the perfect close quarters PCP.
