Baker trigger possible install issue?

So i received my new trigger from Baker airguns today and was excited to install it as soon as I got home from work. The trigger had a gouge and a really sharp burr on it but i didnt mind, im pretty handy with a file and sand paper. I noticed the triggers were very different, and noticed that there is a pin on the stock trigger that is not on the new one. This pin is what pushes against the trigger return spring. I went ahead and installed the 2 included screws and changed out the stock spring and trigger, but the trigger doesnt even touch the return spring and literally flops around in the gun.

I dont think this is right, im hoping I just did something wrong and am hoping for some insight from anyone who has installed this trigger in a disco. I can add pics if necessary.

For now I have put the stock trigger back in and the trigger pull is still much better. But I would really like to use the trigger I paid for, as 20 bucks for 2 screws and a spring is a little insane.
Thanks!

And it turns out I was right and wrong all at the same time. The spring does go over the bottom screw.... The included instuctions didnt mention this. Looks like tomorrow I'll have the new trigger installed.

Editing, just want to add in, I am in no way bashing Baker airguns. Im super happy with my purchase and they shipped very quickly. The instuctions were a little vague for an IT guy, but most people probably wouldnt have an issue, even I started to install correctly then stopped when it seemed difficult to put in the trigger.
