This is what the valve adjuster looks like inside where the rubber ball is supposed to be. It’s kind of a hard resin of some kind.

C’Cut, I know you like playing with balls but I think it’s time to move past that. This Impact has balls already ~ power w/precision! It don’t need no extra stinking balls.

Where did your Impact originate from C'Cut?
I have never seen a valve adjuster that looked like that, and I think that it may be a UK sub 12 Ft Lb part.
All the FAC rated threaded adjuster sleeves that I have seen are through drilled.
Try a PM to Bucketboy, he should be able to tell you if that is in fact the case.

Thanks. I bought the gun from a friend, who bought it from his friend, who bought it from SPAW. Apparently Ken (and Ernest) "tuned" the gun prior to sending the gun to the buyer. Apart from that, I have no idea what was done as a part of the "tune"...
