Bad experience buying JSB 10.3 from Utah Airgun

He blames JSB in his comment, now the title should have both but don't you think some quality control should happen from the middle man to the customer? While Utah has no control over the bad pellets they should be checking to make sure bad pellets aren't coming to us. The return goes to Utah, not JSB. The headache is from ordering and waiting from Utah they're distributing bad pellets technically. I mean it's not completely unfair to Utah.. I see the argument but imo it would seem both have a responsibility of ensuring the product is correct when they hand them out to the customer...

"bad experience buying JSB from Utah airguns" Actually the more I read the more I realize he's just saying he bought them from Utah. technically as far as he's aware this could have just been a batch Utah had, sooooo if you buy these particular pellets from Utah maybe check yours. JSB clearly messed up but he says that. It's odd so many are so protective over middlemen and manufacturers or they chose to rip apart only the manufacturers. Or even in some cases rip apart the manufacturers for mistakes the dealers make.

I agree. The reseller should cover the return and charge it back to their supplier because the product was defective. Not being obvious from the unopened container doesn't make the product any less defective. If the containers had the wrong caliber or wrong weight inside I'm sure everyone would expect the seller to cover the return. If an item doesn't meet advertised specs then the customer did not get what they ordered. There is no middle ground.

SCmaddness , I am puzzled by your statement. How on earth is Utah Airguns supposed to check the pellet quality? The OP comments were directed to the head diameter of said pellets. What is Utah to do? Measure each pellet with calipers? the tins are sealed , Utah just receives them and then ships them to order. I do not believe Utah is guilty here in any way. HOWEVER , I do agree that Utah should take them back and exchange them with JSB for replacements.

as for the OP - I wish you good fortune with your new batch of pellets , I , personally have NEVER received a tin of pellets from JSB that matched the head diameter printed on the tin.

I have several tins from Utah. Just about all are 4.46 and all are grossly under the .452 stated head size. They shoot "good" in one gun thank god because I have a lot of them. Bought some to replentish my stock so didn't open each one and shoot/measure pellets from multiple tins. Silly me I trusted JSB. My other guns that used to shoot them good now shotgun these. My experience Crossman at Wallmart has WAY better QC than these pellets show.

I will never buy JSB 10.34 Heavies in 177 again.... ever. Anytime I buy any JSB pellet I will check the forums for current problems. This restocking fee the customer pays as a remedy is no customer service at all from either the vendor or the manufacturer. Both have to clean this mess up with as little inconvenience as possible to the member. These pellets should really be sold as seconds being this far out of spec.
