Backyard Airgun Hunting

I do like my Marauder better than my Impact, but for other reasons. The Impact is obviously a lot nicer of an airgun, but I’ve put so much time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears into my Marauder and I have it shooting so well that it is my favorite. It’s like owning a brand new Lambo, yet your old Camaro is still your baby because of the memories and time you’ve spent with it.

I know what you mean about that one rifle. My first "serious" air rifle was a Weihrauch HW95 springer. Despite all the issues I had learning to shoot a springer, and getting it tuned just right, I could really take out some squirrels with that rifle. Still can, but I've since moved to a couple of PCP's, and my HW95 has been sitting, unfortunately.

Super high-end rifles like the Impact and Crown are amazing advances in the air rifle world. I followed your earlier saga regarding your Impact from AoA, and I think it demonstrates the complexity of these rifles, and how if one variable goes awry, the entire platform can be effected. Seems like you got yours sorted out which is great.

Hope to keep seeing some videos from you. Great fun to watch.
