Back Bag Rest for Bench

Not my idea, but I found it very useful for benchrest and I decided to share it, and cheap (about US$20 + -) just google for lab lifter. No need to get bag riders and stuff like that (more weight), and far more precise IMO.

I use one of these. I grabbed the cheapest (with a full width scissors thing) I could find on amazon. There are versions with 2/3 width scissor/lifters that are a couple buck cheaper. Works great when I have the room. Even my bullpups hang off the back the table I usually shoot from. That's my fault, I just don't always have the room to support the rear. I'll toss up a pic of the setup (if no one else does) but it won't be until tomorrow at best. Is it stable? Yes(ish) depends on expectations.... I certainly wouldn't lean my weight on the rifle and nothing will stop it from moving left/right if not locked down but it's usually more stable than just shouldering the gun with from a front bipod,
