I just got my .22 veteran short, I can’t wait to test the hell out of it, this little bugger is super light and very well balanced, it’s pretty quiet with the factory shroud but now withDonnys Sumo is mouse fart quiet, Im waiting on Bizill mag-holders, thanks Bill!

    That thing looks sick!

I just picked up a used Mutant that looks just like that.

What scope do you have on that thing? What pellets and FPS are you hoping to use and achieve? Are you pesting or?

Man, I’m as excited as you, about this freshy.

Congrats.  I have been very pleased with mine. Super accurate and trouble free for many thousands of shots. Mine is primarily a hunter and very easy to carry in the field.

Nice shorty, Regarvalyes Thanks for sharing. Where'd you order yours from?

This is exactly what I want for my next gun. Black .22 short. With my luck as soon as I order one, they'll come out with a foreward cocking lever version. I am trying to be patient and see if and what they come out with next but waiting is tough! I want one of these sooo bad!

Is it 1/2 -20 UNF on the end of the shroud?

The scope is SWFA 10×42 with the mil-rad reticle, it came from RL shooting the 18gr @870 FPS, I’m going to lower it to 820 FPS, I heard this gun performs great at this speed. I choose this gun specially for its reputation  of been accurate and built like a tank, im also moving to a house with a descent backyard size, full of trees and foliage which means lots of critters :) Donny’s Sumo will definitely help with the noise report for those non friendly gun neighbors :)

    Sounds like a good time.

Man, This is a crazy hobby.

I’m over $2000 in and haven’t even shot a pellet yet. Next week, hopefully.

yes it is, I got the adapter from Donny, to be honest I don’t mind the rear cocking lever, the taipan lever is so smooth and the trigger is amazing as well.  I got from RL,Matt was really helpful, the gun was tested and shipped next day.

Sweet ride man.  Love the waY the scope just looks like it was all part of the recievers orginal design.  This looks.like.one of those rifles that just fit so well when you shoulder it.  You all know that one rifle that just flows so naturally from the shoulder thru the arms and hands and right into the center of the bullseye.  You know the kind of rifle that you dont have to aim.  You just look at the target and bam.  Cant wait to hear of some field tests.  Oh and congrats on the bigger yard.  I shoot from my front porch and there is nothing like having your own personal range.  Oh and the critter targets are too much fun.  Got my first chipmunk today with my Crosman phantom (the benny wildfire has many confirmed kills).  Felt good to bring out the old springer.

quiet, consistent, powerfull, good shotcount, accurate, built like a tank, best triger on the market (for me)…. best configuration for me is 18.13gr @800-820fps.. almost 50 consistent shots on a 230bar fill…. you can go up tu 250bar but i dont like it!

Darn it, that thing looks better without a bipod attached compared to my .25 Standard.  But I pretty much only shoot benchrest / bipod so I guess it stays…
