Hey everyone

Steve over at AEAC has been busy learning the brand new Air Venturi Avenger in .22 and Hawke's Vantage rifle scope. I just pulled a few pictures from AEAC's Facebook page.

So far Steve tells me that he's really impressed with the features & accuracy at a rock bottom price. The next few weeks are going to be awesome! Starting with a VLOG (candid video log with initial thoughts & impressions), followed by a complete TUNING GUIDE, then a FULL VIDEO REVIEW, and finally a GIVEAWAY!

What do y'all think?!

Holy crap! Look what I just pulled off of AEAC's Instagram page!

Straight from the horses mouth: Behold!! AEAC's "Pro Tune" for the NEW Air Venturi Avenger regulated .22 cal 🤘. This tune will push an 18gr to an average of 864 fps with an ES of 22 and a SD of 4.7 across a massive 72 shots, right where you want to be for the ultimate in competition level accuracy with a diabolo shaped pellet. Power comes in at a solid 30 foot pounds, more than enough for hunting small game out to 100 yards. If you're after fast & flat, this tune also happily pushed a 16gr to 915-920 fps. "Power" and "Eco" tunes forthcoming

I can't keep up with all of Steve's pictures and commentary. If want to see everything is real-time check out https://www.instagram.com/hookedonair/

I've been wait by for these to come out now since they were announced. I ordered a .22 2 weeks ago and am hoping it'll ship in the next few weeks. I decided to go the budget route for airguns now having a crazy accurate cheap 22lr for longer ranges. Most my airgun shots are 10-75yds and from what I see this gun can hang good enough for my uses. And won't worry about it getting some scratches and dirty like my nicer guns I've owned

If the 5th picture down from the top is a picture of the barrel without the shroud around it, then the barrel doesn't look like it has a crown on it. That seems strange to me. I'm wondering if the rifle's accuracy could improve with a proper crown? I actually can't even make out the rifling? Maybe it's just the angle. But I for sure don't see a crown.
