Makes you wonder why you waited so long, doesn't it! I have had a YH compressor for about 2 1/2 yrs and I can shoot any time and not have to work up a sweat to get ready! Haven't done anything to compressor except plug it in and change oil once in awhile. I don't feel the need to have a "home gym"!
So you didn't get the Nomad fixed? At least with a tank, you always know how much air you have left. Those portable compressors can let you down anytime without warning. If I had a choice of one or the other, I would always go with the tank. Having a way to fill it yourself can always come later.
I'd still advise anyone wanting to start into PCP shooting to check with your local fire stations as well. Mine will fill my tanks after an initial visit to show them the tank and certification. I usually take some donuts in or make a donation to their fund but they fill it regardless. Smaller local stations might be better than larger urban stations but some will do it
Good, look forward to some winter shooting videos. btw, I think I can drive a semi now thanks lol. If you happened to see a convoy of Utility Trucks that passed thru your town on the 27th I was in that convoy on our way to Wisconsin for WPS. Looks like a nice town in the summer lol.
