So my old NiteSite battery has always been a bane of my shooting after dark moments. I had a setup for a while consisting of zip-ties and electrical tape to attach it to the railing of my Wildcat. I sat and finally tackled the issue. Took apart the battery case and saw where I could drill and attach small M4 bolts and nuts. Using a cheap quick-release offset rail accessory as a base, I drilled two holes then made a small extension of fiber reinforced plastic for clearance purposes. End result is lightweight, off to the side opposite the cocking lever and easy to detach.
