ATP TMAN

I shoot a fair amount, not going to deny that😉.

I have two 88cf SCBA bottles and a guppy (18cf??)

I have used the guppy tank as my tethering source. It used to be the tank I took to FT shoots but I haven't been to one in a good while. As I give into the 'MO POWER' routine filling it to 250 bar so I could tether it became a daily event even while using air from other tanks On my currently favorite rifle, even filling one of the 88cf tanks to 4000-4500 psi still only gives me 9 fill fills. Back to shooting a lot... that's 3-4 days for me (if that long).

Rather than invest in an inline regulator so I can tether to a higher pressure SCBA, I went a different direction. I spent $80 and can now cascade the two 88cf tanks mostly for doing full fills on the guns, and fill both tanks at the same time (that will be huge for me) but still all with the same set up. And can still tether when one tanks gets to 250ish bar, I can tether from that one, and/or add some air from the other. All from choosing which valves to open.

I've been asking questions that this answers for years without anything in the way of good answers. I've never used ATP before and they really don't advertise it as doing the stuff I'm looking for from it but no reason I know of that it can't (watch them raise the price next week😄)

I have to rearrange stuff but I'll post 'after-setup' pics

The owner of ATP is Gene, and he’s an awesome dude. I got to hang out at his shop a couple of times this last month when I went there to purchase the Regman and then last week the Stikboy. I was going to go with the Stikman for cascading but thought about it long and hard, and realized that I’m never ever going to cascade tanks. ATP makes quality stuff.

Works perfectly!

The tank with the yellow protector was as at about 2400psi. The other was at 4400.psi Connected everything. Filled from the low pressure tank as far as it would go. Closed the valve and then filled to my normal pressure for this gun, close to 3500psi, from the other tank.

Filling one tank of these tanks from 2500 psi to 4400 psi takes about 4 min on my compressor. So once I run down the pair of tanks I'll fill both at the same time and report back the run time. Both tanks are JB Great Whites so ~ 88ft.

Oh... and once both tank valves are closed, I can bleed the whole system from either tank's bleed valve so filling both at the same time shouldn't be any problem. :)
