ATN X-Sight 4K PRO

+1 on what he said very good night sight even better with an upgraded IR. Day scope is OK but not a glass scope so just OK. I have one of the 3x14 because it has a larger field of view at the near ranges I am most likely to use it. I love it even though it is a brick to carry around.

I hear good things about the Pard NV008 it weighs less and is less bulky. But the Pard will not do the ballistics and much of what the ATN will do. The battery on the ATN lasts longer but the battery on the Pard can be easily changed out. So looks like the Pard is basically a stripped down version of the ATN both in weight, size and in functionality as well.

If I shot at game at variable longer ranges, I'd definitely add the rangefinder. The shooting I have in my backyard is only 25-35 yards due to hills so at my zero, it's a no-brainer and not necessary. If future ATN scopes are set up so you don't have to go away from the reticle, go to the rangefinder, and back to the reticle, I'll probably upgrade even though I don't need it. When RTR (Ranging Through Reticle-blatant hint to ATN) arrives, I'll jump on it.

What about the RECOIL ACTIVATED VIDEO is there enough to activate it ? Or do I have to manually turn on and off the recording

Because I just bought on ! OMG ! I’m excited

PS !!!!!

where is the check box in the bottom left corner to check to get notification on my post some reason is missing now thanks guys

I myself have not tried the RAV on my PCP. Perhaps others will chime in. I doubt it would work with the low recoil of the PCP, but fear not, turning it on video or taking a pic is as easy as pressing one button on top of the scope. You will love the 18 hour battery life. I had a Photon XT that the batteries barely lasted 1/2 hour in the cold. You bought a great entry level digital NV scope that performs well beyond its price point.

I have a 5-20 and their ABL Rangefinder mounted on the Impact MK2 now using the ATN QD mount. The ballistic calculator in this scope working with the ABL makes this combination a killer setup. With the profile setting I can zero the scope and save it on a profile so if needed I can swap it on another airgun and just load profile. As for the RAV function with their new firmware update you are now able to program recoil sensitivity. I’m able to get the Impact to active the RAV even shooting .22 cal

wow that's how i want my setup to look like ! so you have no problems hitting your target whatsoever ? what is you ballist info ? you saying your shooting a .22 cal how much different is it to a .25 cal ? plus i notice you had to move your ir light what are you using to achieve that set up ?

I’m using a QD riser to mount the IR cause I want to make it easier to remove the IR.

the ABL rangefinder is attached behind the focus ring with a set of Focus Ring Filler Clamp by Apex3D. The ABL is mounted at 12:30 angle which allow me to put the complete setup back in the case with the extra barrel. This setup takes the weight of the rangefinder away from the front of the scope. My current ballistic setting is 922 FPS using JSB 15.9g.

I have not use my .25 cal barrel yet so I can’t say.
Here are a few screenshots of a 93 yards hit with the pellet in flight.

Just picked up one of these. Got it in on Saturday. Frustrated with it so far. Have tried three different Micro SD cards and cannot get it to update firmware. Aside from that, will agree with others in the day scope is 'ok'... night seems good.

I do like having various profiles on it.

I've gotten it sighted for a Cricket in .30 caliber, one in .177, a Ruger 10/22 rifle and an AR 15. Tested moving between guns and all hold zero more or less. Obviously minor adjustments must be made when swapping scopes, but they are all acceptable even after swapping.

I use sd card that is 64gb or less. use the scope to format the card. Put in the computer drag file to card. Don’t put firmware file into the atn folder on the card. Insert card with scope powered off. Turn power on and The scope will ask you to do the update.

wow that looks awesome jack.k !!your gun case look sweet !! and that shot what the hell! that was dead on at 93 yards !! can't wait until my build is done ! waiting on my replacement air cylinder from FX , what pyramyd air did when i placed my order last november and received it february ! was they grabbed a 22.cal rifal and swap barrels out because they didn't have the .25 in stock so they forgot also to change the air cylinder to the 290cc !didn't think i would catch it, the barrel sticks way out past the cylinder,so i'm waiting on that now and the power plenum , so i've been down for almost 2 weeks now so i've just been looking thru my scope dreaming lol ! nice rig you got !!

Wha t exact parts are needed to put the ABL up and behind the focus ring. I have the 5-20 and it put down a 1000 doves, pigeons and a few starlings with I think one squirrel. Mounted on a Crown Continuum .22 with the 380mm barrel. Would be nice to get it in the case with the ABL on.

Here is the link for the ABL mounting ring filler.

https://apex3d.shop/products/focus-ring-filler-clamp

this works very well as the scope is more balanced and not having to worry about putting too much weight at the end of the scope. I didn’t mount the ABL at 3 or 9 o’clock so allow me to put the whole setup back in the FX case. With the ABL mounted at 12:30 or so it give clearance for the extra barrel to be stored in the case also.
