Tryi g to take pics and vids. Got one pic no vids on card. Looked like it was working. Help, dang thought I had some good pics and vids of resent hunt.

Yes as cmatera said, double check your sd card. The rubber cover sometime pushes on the card and it pops out, I had this happen to me once so I double check it before I do a hunt.

My card would pop out pretty regular, most of the time, whenever I closed the door/lid to seal it up. I finally took a razor blade and cut the nub off of the lid that looks as if it is posed to hold the card in. I have not had a problem with the card popping out since.

Card was in, had one photo on it. After a second photo or a vid do you have to accept them?

Are you pressing and holding the buttons or just giving them a tap to take a pic or start recording. I had a problem with mine because I was pressing and holding the button. When I started just tapping the button it worked for me...

Tapping the buttons, in the view area appears to take pic or record. But just the one pic on the card along with the latest update and save settings files, ple ty of storage area left on card. I gotta be dumb somewhere, should be simple. Once I thought I was good with computer stuff.

Have you tried reformatting the card in the unit? Did you erase your update file if you updated? About my only thoughts on the matter.

I'm not sure about how the ATN scopes save their files onto the memory cards,
but I know that with several of my high end digital cameras, the files are separated.
Ex: When viewing the contents of my memory cards,
there will be several different sub-folders. Depending on how I've set the cams up to save,
photos and videos can all be saved to one folder,
photos can be saved to one folder and videos can be saved to another folder.
Then I noticed that even within the folder where videos are supposed to be,
sometimes they're not.. they somehow save in yet another folder.
So that said, double check the contents of every folder that appears on your card.
Process of elimination.

Looked at every sub folder no joy. Gotta be simple. Im in the RV in a park maybe I can get a sneak pic or vid without upsetting the troops. Keep thinking and responding.

Well snuck it out and the pics work but no vid. When touching the photo I see a pic being taken. Turn on the vid and I get the vid indicator on the view screen then turn it off its gone. Look at the card and no vid.

Got the latest firmware. Think the wind is down so I can go to a range today and go through everything I can. I'll start with reformat and have an MT card. 64gig big enough? Check the recoil again and and and.

Think I have the answer, drum roll, sd card too slow 10 or better and 32 gigabyte. We will see this after noon. Wind is up but I can test the card without shooting.

Well it was not the card. It was operator error I think. It's working with the 32 gig card but I don't think that the card was doing it. RED FACED HERE the recoil activation was ON, don't know if I did it but things look different in the record mode now. There is a counter not a red indicator of some type. After failing with the 32 gig card I started mucking around and found the recoil activation on, as soon as I turned it off vidio worked. Thanks for all the help, maybe photos and vids on the next hunt.
