I have also installed the shims and think the abl looks much better on a backwards position. However I have tried with the ABL on the ATN X-sight pro 3-14x to shoot my FX wildcat at 50 yards and then at 15 yards letting the ABL do its work but the p.o.i. Was not spot on . When shifting between these distances doing each time a ABL reading a constant p.o.i. Change of approx 1” was there. Each time the same point of impact shift.. I have tried all settings, zeroing methods , environment setting elimination, fixations of all mounts , screws, canting issues et. etc. But at last my delaer confirmed that the system was able to provide a nice approximate estimate and adjust accordingly witht he ABL but it could not be really hole in hole spot on with my 2 chosen distances just by the technical capability. I was very dissapointed as I expected spot on adjustment from the system. Any comments on my dealer’s story or was his experience / explanation correct and did I expect too much ?
