Atlas or not?

Atlas: zero slop, hard anodized aluminum, stainless springs, quality hardware, hardened steel parts where it matters, did I mention zero slop... American Made

Knock-off: Sloppy, loose, junk finish, junk springs, junk hardware, recycled metals, soft weak springs and trash metals... Did I mention SLOPPY... And a rip off of an American company's design...

I own an Atlas, I returned a knock off the day I received it...

Just my .02

One aspect receives too little attention:

If you buy clones, you are supporting thieves.

Sure you can make up excuses about the real thing being too expensive, but there are legitimate alternative bipods that are not clones.

If you are supporting thieves, then dont come back later complaining about what the world is coming to...

= ramble mode off= 🤪

While I do not agree with how China is stealing intellectual property and making knock offs and hurting US businesses, it is also a fault of the US businesses for charging such ridiculous amounts of money it forces people to look else where.

Why spend $400 on a bi pod even if it is for a $2000 gun when you can get something for tons less that is 80% as good.

Im totally with you. High prices do indeed force people to go elsewhere. I also do not agree with China ripping off the designs of others. Now as with the atlas. That thing is not even worth the asking price. Sure it is a really nice bi-pod but pushing $300 is just greedy. Just as a note I have used Atlas bi-pods in the past. There are plenty of far cheaper options out there that work just as well. I really think it just comes down to bragging rights. Just because someone payed more doesn't mean its a that much of a better product if at all in some cases.
