Athlon Argos 6-24x50 ffp $299

I have 4 Athlons, love the reticle and the FFP. The 8-34 gets a touch dark at full magnification in the woods but for the price I'm ok with it. Do wish they offered the scopes without illuminated reticle, would make mounting side shot on the left side instead of the right side but I live with it.

I have three of them, one of them is the 8-34, don’t go past 26x, wish I had just got another 6-24 instead. Jmo anyway.

Won't go past twenty six ? Are you saying it is not clear past this power ?

Try this vendor also when shopping scopes, the best prices I have found. They don't carry every single model but if requested they might order it for you. I bought a Midas 2.5x15 last month for $249 including shipping. That was $40 under Amazon at the time. They also have an enter to win right now

Excellent vendor and usually will give you the best price. I have used them several times as they are a supporting vendor of another site I frequent. I wasn’t going to mention them at first, but this thread is directly referencing vendors that are not supporting us here, so I guess it is ok. On the Argos mentioned at the beginning, the last sale price I saw was $270 for that model. Just call and ask for Doug.

I have a Helos BTR model in 6-24 and, if you like FFP, it is a good scope. I think it is very similar to the Argos except for locking turrets, and the IR is operated on the side focus knob. The problem I would have with the one advertised is the MIL structure. I seem to think only in MOA, but that's just my limitation.

I Have two helos btr 6-24 ffp and must say

I am very impressed

very good scope for the money

life time warranty

locking turrets easy to operate

like reticle and illuminate

picture is clear bright parallax adjustment -side focus is from 10yards what is important for us airgunners (Argos is same from 10yards)

come with sunshade and flip Up scope covers

cons:

if you prefer small light scope you may not like Midas or Argos coz both are same size

14,1 inches

29,6 ounces

I have the Argos with the Side-Shot on the left side. If you flip the one knurled knob around, it clears just fine.

I would hate it if it was on the right.

Super optics and I think someone has any idea where I can buy it but the "seller" is from Europe because the customs fee is too high in Bulgaria ...?

Sometimes there are bids on ebay and amazon - UK options but do not know can i rely on purchases and that of expensive optics from these sites? What do you think?

Greetings.
