I had to evaluate the M2 regulator requirement prior to U.S. market, when I got her she was set up for high power for Russian hunting requirement. I had to restack the regulator for power and shot count, quick view on expected performance:
Un-like other BP that assemble the whole unit around the air tube, the Ataman use a long thick rail running from the end of breech to forward of the air tube clamp—all major components are screwed on to that rail and make the whole BP more steadier and solid---minimize POI shifting from the air tube flexing.
The barrel isn’t clamp by the air tube clamp it runs true two barrel band, kinds free floating on oring inside the band. same setup trigger linkage as the vulcan, but trigger adjustment is vary limited. the scope mount is 1/4" higher them most BP, heavier then most BP, Don't need a single shot tray when mag removed you can use two fat fingers to load direct to barrel, you dont have to remove mag to load pellets.
