Hi guys was thinking of a way to lighten my at44-10 and was curious to see if anyone with more knowledge than me has tried an aluminium air tank?

I'll have to check wen I get home but I'm pretty sure your thinking of the bt 65 either that or I have a unique at44-10.... mine is most definitely steel

I have 2 AT44s and the air tubes seem to be aluminum. I've removed the valve to fit a regulator in the 22 cal long and to modify the valve in the 25 short and both of mines seem to be aluminum.

You made me get my guns out and check again. You're right, AT44 steel and BT65 aluminum. All my other guns are heavier than the AT44 so I never worried about the weight. So not sure if there are any other options for air tubes besides steel.

I would think If the bt-65 uses aluminium then there would have to be a way to use it for the at 44-10 as well... anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe Wicked Air Guns will do something in the future. I know Travis is making some replacement parts for Hatsan guns, including a new valve, bottle adapter, depinger so maybe he will do a new tube.
