Of course different scopes have different dimensions. This is the Falcon 5.5-25x50 ffp with UTG medium Max Strength QD rings:


You can see that it JUST clears but it works fine:


This is the AEON 8-32x50 with the same UTG rings. I have a set for each scope so they can be swapped at will.


It has about 1/8 inch clearance:


Now I like my scopes as low as possible so I work hard to find the best combination to achieve that.
I hope this info helps others decide which set works best for them.

Exactly, I did not mean your photo was not clear, I meant it was very easy to understand, and a photo is worth a 1000 words. I have a set of 30mm Weaver rings, called grand slam, they are .500 inch ( high), that would only give me 1mm or 1/32". They might be a lil to close, that is not counting if I have to put the turret saddle over the mag. But since I have em will try em. It get expensive buying rings trial & error.
