Son and GF have two of these in .22. Son is shooting for more more more. Wants to order a custom barrel, really 2 one for each

Shooting 40 yards 6 pellets on top of each other NO not a ragged hole 6 pellets on top of each other "a screamer"

Using JSB pellets 18.13. SO now the question What barrel maker for a poly barrel or suggestions??? 

Had higher end scopes on the guns and is going over to night force, mounting soon, has them in hand.
 
reminds of the time I went to the gunsmith and asked for a new barrel,we went to the indoor range and he shot my pistol for awhile,then he turned to me and said you don't need a new barrel you need more ammo so you can practice more,true story....now you may asked what does that got to do with the question,I really don't know,butt hey it was a true story.

so Lenweber you have confused some of us on the why part of this

as stated the rifles, 2 rifle are shooting like robots and stacking pellets, so one would assume the barrels are fine, the shooters are fine , the ammo is fine

but there is a need for 2 custom barrels and that is where the confusion starts

what are the custom barrels for too shoot better

there is an old rule-----if it ain't broke don't fix it------but hell none of us care how they, you, spend your money

Ah grasshopper got more info. He has two HR's not the HP's and has the 18" Lothar Walther -Choked/Crowned barrel. Also said he turned down the power two three clicks when it shot the 6 on 6 at 40 yards and at full power is shooting quarter at 75 yards or so. He just wants to try the poly barrel on his guns. Object is getting the best grouping higher power with megga shot count. When I say kid he is 49 years old. mostly shooting birds now but loves the ground squirrel hunting in season. Like his dad would rather shoot fur or feathers but has an affliction of shooting small groups.
