ask AEAC - Hatsan Hydra, Seneca Eagle Claw, Continuum Power Plenum, .177 vs .22

Nice laid back video. What's a Hatsan "Hyda"? Too chilled out to catch that misspell on the "cover page"? Where's ur OCD? LOL Merchandising seems like a fun idea. I'd buy a t-shirt or stickers for sure👍 If you're gonna start a detailing youtube, you're gonna need to get an intern or someone to help with some of that prep work and barrel cleaning stuff to speed up the AEAC side. Keep up the good work; I always enjoy your vids.

Looking forward to a review on the Eagle Claw. It's got a lot of power, though I

believe the Sumatra is a bit more powerful. Seems to be a good slug shooter

but why get rid of that awesome, solid steel magazine that is deep enough to

hold a 57 grain slug in it, generating 103 ft. pounds of energy? As far as

aesthetics, it is a very attractive rifle, but if Seneca was able to still make a

working under lever with a single air reservoir, why not replicate the big bore line

they make, available in single or double air reservoir?

I plan on purchasing a Dragon Claw this year with a single air tank which

makes it a beautiful, moderately powered big bore. I've always wished that

Seneca would reproduce the original Sumatra 2500 with a single air

reservoir just like their big bore line. Take care everyone!

Steve hopefully you clarify this. You mentioned that the Eagle Claw is supposed to be “super high power.” The specs show it’s not in the original Sumatra level of power as sold.

I know lots of guys hate the Korean cliff tune but I don’t shoot mine on anything past 8 for 33.95 and then on up if 50 grain .25 slugs.

I want a full power 500cc Sumatra .22; but if The Eagle Claw can be turned up I would consider one. As a lefty the lever action is nice but PA and everyone else’s specs show The EC is a bit of a dog in power. Can you clarify please?

I would love to see Seneca/Airventuri/Samyang make a deticated 100+ FPE Slug gun but in .22 if thats even possible.

So would I, and it’s very possible. But most guys want bull pups now. Not a 24”-28” barrel plus LDC.
I’m glad they shrouded it but no open sights.

I’d be shooting slugs tethered so I don’t care about shot count, how heavy or long but it wouldn’t be hard for Will Piatt to get 1-3 shots of 40-44 grain RBT’s as high as sub sonic .22’s at 1070.
I’d prefer a hot .22 to a rainbow bigger caliber.
Just reference this. Look up the Lewis & Clark rifle specs. Long barrel, low fill pressure by today’s standards. A .32 caliber ball. Believe me the AG industry could do it but not many people want the limitations that come with such a thing.

The Vlog & Full Review will reveal what it is. At the moment, I'm still on the hw35.
