Artemis PP700S-A (Found my suburban backyard carbine)

Wes at airgunarcheryfun.ca/ helped me out and the PP700 arrived today. My high rings don't arrive until tomorrow, so I threw on a mount and scope from my 2250. Y'all know you can't wait either. I put 3 turns on the hammer spring and things looked really good. I can't wait to do a lot more. I know me, there will be a huma in it eventually.

I've wanted something for my back yard, which has a maximum of 30 yard distance. My initial plan was to tune down my Flashpup to around the 650 fps zone with 15-18gr jsb's. But that barrel is most accurate above 800 fps. So I continued my search for the backyard gun.

I discovered from shooting my modded 2250 and Flashpup, that I really don't use the magazine at home. I really like the Flashpup, but it fits best in a larger environment. I could see the Flashpup use going down, to a point that I'll sell it.

So here is the new one.

Gonna have to get one of these!

Would you recommend this one, or the PP750?

I was on that fence. Here is how I made the decision.

1) It was meant for my backyard from the start. The two air rifles I shoot the most are a custom 2240XL/2250 conversion (single shot) and a Hatsan Flashpup with a 12rd magazine and single shot tray. I split shooting between the two. So the Crosman was 100% single shot shooting. I would estimate 75% of my Flashpup shooting are taken with the single shot try. So looking back at my nature, I found single shot wouldn't be an issue

2) The PP700SA comes with a slightly longer barrel. 210mm (8.26") vs 200mm (7.87") I know its not much, but its something. I felt for my use as a carbine, any length can help.

I'm primarily only shooting AA 16gr from here on out. It's been a busy and wet week. Finally able to set everything up. I know others are getting more shots, but I am still happy with mine.

Target is 30 yards away

200 bar fill - End at 100 bar

2 min between shots

Pellets seated with brass seater

I relieve hammer tension between shots

Battery for Labradar went dead after shot 10, so their was longer between shots. Hence, 11 being a higher FPS

Shots 21 and 22 really fell off reg
