Artemis PP700S-A (Mrodair Mk II) Carbine mod

Looking forward to getting mine Lee. I ordered the buffer tube, a castle nut , spanner wrench, and AR stock you recommended last night via Ebay.
Slapped on the only scope I have at hand that would fit the Airmax last night. (4-6x44 Mamba Lite)
Can't wait to make a little carbine out of her. Gotta get the SLRS hush pipe next but Mrodair was out of stock.

"Lee545"This will greatly improve you accuracy, I was hitting 1 inch spinners at 20 yards with iron sights, consistently. This is becoming on of my favorite compact PCPs. I am now on the hunt for a 1-4 power scope.
Thanks Lee
Cool, let us know what you scope it with. I'm probably gonna get a red dot and a scope for it. The Mamba Lite is just too much scope for it.
Might get the Truglo Red Dot 2x42 from Walmart and see how I like that?
Then will be a toss up between a Bug Buster and a Leapers UTG 1.25-4x32 SWAT Pistol Scope.

Not sure about the pistol scope as I wouldn't need the long eye relief if shooting as a carbine?
Oh, and I've got a Donny Du adapter coming so I can put my little Huggett Belita on the end of her. It's been sitting in a box for a year ever since I found out my Thomas didn't shoot well with it on.

Terry let us know what all you scope yours with. And all the extra goodies you put on her.

Nothing lite about that Mamba on that pistol, lol. I found this scope for a good price and there quality is outstanding. I have a couple of their other scopes mounted on my powder burners and they have held up well through heavy recoil. http://www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms-1-4x24mm-illuminated-riflescope-pa14x

This has the best of both a scope and red dot sight with its illumination and variable magnification down to 1x. I can't wait to plink and hunt with this setup.

The next project for me on the platform is to design a short, compact LDC that is 3.5 inches in length or less that is as effective as the larger ones so that I can keep this carbine as short and light as possible. I have been also thinking about making longer air tubes for it too. What a fun platform this is!!

Thanks for the heads up on the scope Lee. I hear nothing but good stuff about Primary Arms glass. Looking forward to seeing all your upgrades. Post pics when you can!
I might be interested in your shorty LCD later on?
My Belita is 4.75". I think I'll stay with that for now. Man, it's gonna make this thing so mouse far quiet, I'll be shooting in the house this winter? LOL

I have a Bushnell Trophy 2-6x32 mounted on my MK2 I really like the clarity of this scope I have the same one mounted on my TC Encore 460 SW magnum pistol. I got a adapter and LDC from Dave/Rocker1 that works really good very lite weight and quiet, Jim I finally found the box of my dot site it's a Aim Sports RT4-06D it has 4 different reticle patterns in red or green works great for my shooting to 20yds I have it mounted on my MKI 22.

Got the Donny Du adapter today. The ol' Huggett has been laying around in a box for a year, now it's found good use.
Got the AR tube and stock that Lee recommended. Ordered a Truglo 2x42 from Wallyworld.
I'll be set when your adapter gets here Lee ;-)

Oh and saw a neat 3D slip on pellet tray on another forum. Wanting one of those too! Has a magnet in the top that fits over the screw in the top of the port to hold it on. I sent him a pm, waiting to hear back.

Thanks for the heads up Lee. I still haven't heard back from the guy who makes the slip on pellet tray?

Deutsch, I haven't spent the time I need to with mine. Haven't even run it across a chrony yet, but getting a good 25 to 30 shots on a fill with that small air tube is pretty nice.
Grouped pretty well the one time I slapped the big ol' Mamba Lite on her. I'll have a better review for it when I get my Truglo mounted.

Ken Hicks shot some pretty impressive 25 meter groups with his .177 and a 2.5 power scope.
