Here's a shot of the bottom of the stock..
See that little circle? That's a 'soft' dot of hook and loop velcro.
It protects both the stock and the table / surface area from scratches.
Yeah.. sometimes I have some not-so-dumb ideas. 🤪

I'm probably going to end up re-shooting a flat/satin black over this finish..
As is, it looks pretty sweet, but, I've always liked duller finishes..
As of now, everything is reassembled, and ready to go..
Well.. Almost.. I'm giving it 1 more day to cure before handling..
If you guys don't hear from me - I probably died from the suspense! 😃

Bought 1 about 3 months ago. In 25! Shoots good, i didn't say very good. I can knock pidgeon out @ 45 yds. I think the 22 or 177 might be a better choice in general. I get 800 fps w/ 1" groups @ 25 yds. 1 1/2" @50. Flier here and there. I think I'm using wrong pellets. JSB 25g. Found HN 20g is tighter group.

Long range ( not what i bought her for) is stunningly similar. 2"-3" @ 100 I like long ranging so i wing one out here and there. I'd tell of 1 of my Kentucky windage shots but you absolutely wouldn't believe it. And I wouldn't want DNR to get wind of it,

I was wanting a LIGHT, SMALL hunting gun. That's what she I's!

Keyman,

It sounds like your .25 cal shoots good-enough And packs a nice punch! Awesome!
I've always been curious how they shot - Thinking maybe I'd invest in a .25 also..
You brought up pellets - I shoot both the JSB 25s and the H&N 20s, and noticed something similar..
I was testing the .25 bbl for a Kral Arms Puncher Nemesis. Interesting finds..

Hey, get back in here, and break out that Kentucky Windage story! I love hearing about those types of shots!
I'm a .22LR rimfire shooter, so I know all too well about them. haha

911, Help, Mayday, Houston - We Have A Catastrophic Failure!

UPDATE:
I don't know how or why, but the air cylinder just started leaking air out of the fill-probe-hole!
The gun has been working absolutely flawlessly, the past 2 days it obviously hasn't even been fired..
This morning, I wanted to test out the new magazines, so I figured I'd top off the air pressure..
As soon as I started filling the cylinder, I could hear air hissing..
I stopped, heard air at the front.. Checked, and sure enough.. Air was escaping from the fill port hole..

I'm not familiar with the air-cylinder on these, so I did two things..
I tried to spin the gauge with my fingers - just to check to see if it had become loose..
And..
I slid an allen key through the filler probe hole to see if maybe I could spin it / snug it up..
Nope & Nope.
I cocked and fired the gun a few times, thinking that maybe something would reset / re-seat.. Nope..

Not being familiar with the air cylinder internals, I figured I needed to ask how/where I should start..
O-ring failure? Regulator failure? I-Are-Lost..

And now I'm at work, so I figured it would be a good time to post this - Hoping for some advise / info.

What a buzz-kill..

Thank you in advance for your advise/help/info/time!

RC,

Right on man, I couldn't agree more!
I've modified / rebuilt / re-ringed a lot of regulators/valves over the years,
but without knowing what we're getting into first, it can be a real pain..
My anxiety was starting to kick in there for a while. Tear Down Vid #5 was definitely a nice help..

I also had a few people tell me that the internal setup w/ these is the same as the Cricket..
That was a big help too - since I already knew exactly how that is set up and works.

Glad that we're both back in action!

👍👍
