kzz1kaw,
Thanks, and right on.. Aaron sure does have some nice videos regarding these little pups,
and it's nice to hear that he helped you in your decision to grab one of these for yourself!
I've been following these things for way too long.. I even mentioned that to Aaron in a video comment..
To be honest, even though I've wanted to order one, I was going to keep holding off for a while longer,
but thanks to my Puncher Breaker valve snapping - I ordered my P15 a lot sooner than expected!
I'm really glad that I did, as mentioned . . . These things are just so much fun!
I hope to hear that you really enjoy yours too!!
My backstop: The black material is called 'stall-mat', and you can find that stuff locally at Tractor Supply Co.
If you swing by your local store, they usually have stacks of these mats piled up outside. They're Heavy!
They're 4ft x 6ft x 3/4" thick. I used 1/2 of one, cut in 1/2 again and doubled up to make a total of 1.5" depth.
Then framed it using 1" x 3" wood.
Here's my crappy video walk-through of what is involved, and how mine was made:

As for pellets: The ones in this video are Crosman Premier .22 cal 14 grain Hollow Points.
I actually use them in a few of my other PCP rifles also - because they shoot so well, and they're so cheap!
Walmart always has them in stock, and a tin of 500 of them only cost about $7.00
If/when I go to a Walmart, I make it a point to grab a few tins, and try to keep stoked up. haha
You should be able to find them in .177 cal also!
I also use a few different pellets by H&N and by JSB. All of those are much heavier though!
Mine would be in .22 caliber, so, closer to the 20 gr range..
They shoot much better when firing longer distances, and, they're great for slowing down the FPS,
and also great in higher powered setups. I will be using all of those in future videos as well,
and as soon as the cold weather lets up, I'll be using those when shooting outside again.
Sam -
Coming home soon 30 days to go. Thinking about picking up a 22 to have all three calibers
