I bought a .309 115 flat nose gas check mold via a group buy on another forum . I haven't had great success with lighter bullets but this one does great. I'm consistently sub 2" at 200 yards and the only time I get outside of it is when the wind gusts. Now I have two bullets that perform well out of the dozens I've tried (commercially made and molds that I've purchased), the above mentioned model and the NOE 134 grain BBT.

Haven't posted here in a while but judging by the activity I might try to visit more often.
 
How about if I just send you some and you don't pay me? I was the recipient of some cast slugs from a shooter on another forum that he sent me free of charge; just a nice gesture form one airgunner to another. It helped me to make a decision on buying a mold and I don't mind repaying the favor to someone else. Do you have any 134 gr. NOE BBT's? I also have 150 gr. Lee flat nose gas check which are great for hunting; not so good on the bench past 100 though.



I size mine to .309 which I have found to perform best. Send me a message and let me know what you want; I'll send some out to you for testing.

Did you install the gas checks or just size the bullets??? Wonder if there is value or detriment in gas check use...they are available in brass AND alum. They might come off when inserting which would be a nyet-nyet.

I'm looking at a few different brand 30 cal rifles and the heavier bullets also. 

What is the twist on your barrel and what is the length of the 115 gr bullet? I've been shooting 52 gr HP NSA's in my Condor...AWESOME. Bullet LENGTH is the deciding factor...velocity also has an impact...as to whether a bullet will stabilize in what twist.
