It's FFP so obviously it depends on what magnification you are at, but its not overly thick even at full magnification. I had mine at the range a couple of days ago and at 100 yards the center cross hair was just covering the 1" target squares on 14 power which makes sense because I believe the center cross hair is supposed to be .5 mil x .5 mil. which would be about an inch and a half each way at 100 yards.

Looks Great! I'm interested in this scope too. Have you ever tried/used a Nightforce? I know its a completely different price point but I wonder if you have how they compare. Also what is the minimum focal distance?

no I haven't tried night force way out of my league goes down to 10 yards I can say without a doubt these are some of the best turrets out there

Glad you digging it Doug . The turrets on the Arken scopes kick ass !!!! It sounds like a small thing , but the oversized 0 on the turrets is a nice touch

I only had second focal plane scopes and thin reticles .. and i give this one a try I received 2 weeks ago, all I can say is perfect .. you don't buy anything else better for $350 shipped...I recently got a bushnell Forge 3x18x50...a scope that in some places is a $799 scope .. and this Arken is as great as the bushnell..will buy one more for my other cricket compact...I was always thinking tha I need more magnification when what I needed was greater glass..I made my first 212y kill shoot with this scope in my .22 cricket compact shooting 17.5 g NSA.

Very nice looking and I'm sure a winner.
Wish it was 1/2 pound lighter and 1-2" shorter. Contemplating what scope on a AA TX200 which is already heavy before the glass. Mine are all hunting rifles.

Good to hear some more about it here. I have heard nothing but good things about the SH on other sites. Good to hear the reticle isn’t too thin either. That is the one thing many people don’t like about the EP, reticle being too thin.
