Argos clarity - nice feat

Hi,

I was testing my scope and trying to read a bus sign from 390m (used google maps, android app called Map Distance Meter)

First I was not able to do it. Tried with eyeplay, different zooms.
Then I twisted the parallax a touch down to maybe 410 yards, and with little play with the eyebox, the bolded text became clear!

The sign was like this:

So, not bad at all!
This was done without daylight with just the street lights, through a window.
With my bare eyes, after searching few seconds I can just about see a white sign in the distance.

I like the clarity too, without the chromatic aberrations which are seen in other scopes at similar magnification. I would say the clarity on the Argos is on par with many of the scopes in the price range (such as vortex), but the Argos brings more features to the table (great Reticle APMR, First Focal Plane, Side Focus, illuminated reticle without a glowing halo around it, etc).
They are a great company, Athlon recently posted a video on how to put a zero stop on their scope's elevation (there were other videos where people were using M12 washer to achieve this function). The difference was, when I called the company, they mailed me some plastic washers (which does not scratch or stress the elevation knob on the inside) for free.

Nice!

I ordered couple nylon washers for maybe 3 euros and fit them in. Two of those I believe, bought 4 as they cost like couple cents each. I have now 12mils to go down. Plus the NoLimit mounts but I keep it at fixed angle of maybe another 12mils.

We are now having a very dark season and IR is very nice to have at this time!!
I also noticed that with the IR (Illuminated Reticle) the reticle is very usable even at the smallest setting at 6x zoom. Which I believe could be good for hunting etc. I usually shoot targets at 14x to 24x.
