I haven’t shopped in 2 years, what’s best ambi choices in $1000-1400 range? Was thinking Streamline.
Are these good reasons to get a new PCP?

Like anyone needs a reason. LOL You should be able to buy a Streamline on closeout. They are very good guns. The new Dreamline is a great gun too.

All good reasons! I would look at a Brocock Bantam (Huge bottle gun fan) or an Edgun Leshiy (just want to try something different).

If you gonna go for the streamline. I'd go with the dreamline. It comes with a donnyfl on all their dreamline and about $1200-1300 range. Not a bad deal. And when you want to covert to a bullpup, rifle, or whatever, you can. Buy a steamline and you're stuck with a rifle configuration.

Why would you need a reason to buy a pcp? Life is short. Go for it. I agree with the Dreamline.

There are still plenty of Streamline's out there. I just noticed someone has them on sale for a $100 off. Personally it would have to be much bigger discount due to the Dreamline coming out in the same price point with a lot more options. $899 for a Streamline or $999 for a Dreamline is a no brainer. Go with the Dreamline.

Just ordered the Dreamline from my distributor Pyramyd. It's back ordered and should get it in a couple of weeks or a month.

Excellent point Keyman, but I took the position that I was saving $700-1200 by getting the Dreamline syn instead of a Crown laminate or Daystate.

I am one that researches what I'm interested in that meets my wants/needs best and once I get 'it' figure out if 'it' is in need of 'improvements' I may perform myself, such as; the best scope for it? bi-pod? better stock/grip? etc.

How long will you keep a nice PCP? 10 years? That price difference is $100 a year, can you afford it? I spend more than that on good bourbon. Guess I have two expensive vices!

I’m a bourbon fan too, but I stick to the sub $30 stuff which goes a long way in Kentucky. Have some Elijah Craig for only $22/750ml cheers

Yep, Elijah Craig is one I enjoy too, my standby is Woodford. But at about a bottle a week, there's your $100 in just a month! Of course, I probably drink more of it than I should!
