I have not heard of any US makers at least currently. There have been in the past from what I understand. I can vouch for the Huma regulators. I have one in Marauder and it works great.
Your Hatsan is made in Turkey I belive so a US made regulator is how important?
There is a guy on the GTA forum that makes a nice reg. He made one for my Krosa BP & it works really well. Only $82.00 to your door. His user name is Milo74. He is in Rhode Island I believe.
I agree on both 30cal points,i looked for quite some time and couldn't find a US reg producer. However,i did buy a huma for my hatsan. Outstanding products! Only exceeded by their friendly and quick customer service.
Yes it is made in Turkey. It isn't that important that it is made in the US. i just wanted to know. Seems like there would be more than two manufacturers to choose from.
Air guns especialy pcp's are really a very small market. The vast majority of people don't even know they exist. That's also the reason they are so expensive.
Many folks just do not realize how new regulators in pcp's are , just 10 years ago you could hadly get one (factory) after market was all there was. Why once upon a time (circa 1999) the A-Team made regs for the Career 707 and it was the first pcp to be able to finish a nField Target match on a fill! Anothony Storey used to make & sell a few. But, for many years Korick was it. http://korickdesigns.com/blank_004.htm he also does a lot of great mods. John
Ya thanks spysir for the info and link to Joe Korick's site. Just spent some time looking it over and reading his regulator articles. Very informative. That's an impressive business and shop he has.
