I am wanting a regulated repeating .357 or UP rifle that gets more than 200 fpe?

Having owned several big bores, I've never had one that is all the above or even close.

When I say repeating I mean more than 1-5 shot magazine that doesn't look like some aluminum scrap that was screwed together and anodized black.

Does this rifle even exist? Just about anything big bore can be turned up for several shots over 200 fpe.. But not two full mags, regulated.

Seriously though, not many big bores are regulated. Then to ask for multiple mags at that power level? Hard to achieve that Only so much air can fit in a tube or bottle mounted to the gun.
I’m going to guess and say that a .35 impact might be able to be turned up shooting a slug and get there. I don’t have any experience with a .35 impact though. I would think one mag in it might be doable. They advertise 150 fpe with basic jsb pellets in .35 but not sure how big their mag is, like what size slugs could you fit in it?
But of course, they aren’t cheap either.

It sounds like you want to target shoot, regulated with multiple magazines per fill? The Impact may be where it is at then, even with their anodized aluminum magazine. The Impact's magazine is designed for pellets or really short slugs. Also, you won't be getting that high of PFE levels because of this limiting factor either.

Look at getting a Bulldog that has been modified by Brian at Veradium Air. https://www.veradiumair.com They say he is one of the best with them and maybe he can build you a regulated .357 like you want.

My unregulated Slayer shoots a full magazine with a very small spread in FPS, which makes it really accurate for long range shots. If I load a second magazine then I need to utilise and adjust my holdover for each shot; which is fun to do at long range, as it keeps me in practice adjusting holdover. It is set up for power and hunting, but I shoot at steel mostly.

Yea, Pittbull airguns had a 205fpe regulated (2600psi), if I remember correctly.

I always wondered what that Slayer's shot string was for 5 shots? I'd rather have a 5-shot unregulated with a 15-20fps spread, than a regulated one because of the headache of high frll pressures.

AncientSword, I may have to look for some reviews of the impact and see what i find.

Airgun-Hobbyist . It's still an ugly rifle but if it can be made to shoot more than one mag, I may be interested. Target shoot and Yotes.

davidsng, Capt_MJ Pitbull has perked my interest as well.. If only that rifle didn't look like a black lego set.

I thought the same but I did not find anything similar at this price/lenght/power/reliability/shots count/etc, and the pitbull carbine was my choice

The Ataman M2R Is close. About 150 fpe over 10 regulated shots. Does the Pitbull get 10 good shots over 200 fpe or close?

Hello

My pitbull is tuned for 5 shots at 225fpe avg.

Certainly the m2r is a good option, but for my type of hunt i just wanted 5 good shots in a short platform.

how much cost the m2r bp vs the bulldog stock?

About $800 difference it seems.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The Slayer is one of a kind, no doubt about that, and I would take it's superior mechanical engineering and function over any beautiful wall piece/safe queen any day.

As for the Bulldog, you are right in that it does have that Lego look to it. But it also has so many aftermarket customizable options available that those side panels can be removed, and an Erector Set can be added to it instead.

I've been looking at and reading up on the Benjamin Bulldog and it's mods. It appears the Bulldog is a 5 shot rifle unregulated. The cocking handle may or may not be cheap enough to have to replace right away? The stock takes apart like a Kel-Tec or an airsoft. The shroud is extremely stupid looking, but can be cut apparently.

Seems I would have to spend as much as I did on the rifle to modify it to be close to what I want. 4500 psi cylinder, regulator, cocking handle etc.

Does anyone get 10 shots with a reasonable extreme spread unmodified?

@MACTEN I haven’t chronographed the numbers yet, but on a single fill in a stock Bulldog reservoir I have, on several occasions, taken 15 shots which takes the reservoir from 3000 psi pressure down to around 1500 psi. At over 50 yards I’m using at least 1-2 mildots to compensate for pellet drop with JSB Exact Match Diabolo .35, 81.02 grain after the 10-11th shot and 3 mildots by the last shot. I’ve been in communication with @bthurman at Veradium Air about the Bulldozer tune https://www.veradiumair.com/bull_d.html

and a Taurus tune https://www.veradiumair.com/term_1.html

I’m thinking these should produce the types numbers you desire. Check out the specs for the Bulldozer and chronograph numbers he’s posted for the Taurus. If it looks like something you’d like I urge you to contact Brian. Cool guy, easy to talk to and work with. Hope this helps.
