Are new AGs usually introduced at Shot Show or IWA?

Yes. If something is ready in January, it'll often be introduced at SHOT Show, at least a prototype might be on display. If not, then IWA. Keep in mind not all manufacturers go to one or both. And over the years, you sometimes see prototypes that disappear afterward, never to be seen again.
