Are gas pistons adjustable?

I believe nearly all are sealed gas struts not meant to be repaired or adjusted and they usually have nitrogen in them if I am not mistaken.
There are a few guns that use the Thoeben gas strut which are adjustable, the Weirhach hw90 and Beeman RX-2 are two such guns. The struts use regular compressed air but it would not be a good idea to use hpa compressor as it would probably fill to quickly, and might be difficult to control. You would need the right adapter to connect to the ram. There have been small hand pump kits made for these rams but I think you could get away with a hpa hand pump if you have one.

The vortex piston Hatsan uses are adjustable on most models using the Hatsan pcp fill probe 150 bar max

The Theoben gas ram on the HW90 is adjustable, as are the Hatsan Vortex pistons. Some are, most aren't.
