Anyone wanting the new Bantam Sniper HR more than me?

I'm with you, I think this could be my big airgun purchase this year.

plus its not 2 grand man i love this thing,,,, EDGUN will be releasing a new model in a couple months R5M multi shot cocking lever either side and half way down the pup

Could you share the source on the externally adjustable reg info? If it is quite and accurate with an external reg adjuster then I think it is a big winner as well.

That is one of the nicer guns from shot show imo, especially for the $. Too bad my budget is spent for the next couple of years, otherwise I would be on the list for one already.

I'm cool with the original version. AoA has them on sale for $899 for the regular and hi lite versions.

Would it be worth buying the $899 Bantam and adding your own Huma regulator ?

I'm sure it would tighten up the extreme spread a little, but I'm satisfied with the performance without a regulator. I get about 70 shots with a ES in the 20s fps range.

Careful on the Gen 1 versions and a regulator (altros makes an in-bottle version), as the transfer tube/hole is relatively small: 3.7 to 4.0 mm for 25 and 22 cal, 2.5mm for 177. That makes quite a bit of pressure drop, since it is a long distance from the plenum to the barrel. This means you need a higher regulator pressure and you wind up with less shot count and lower fpe than you would like. The hole is limited by the barrel locking screws - if you open the hole past 4mm, you'll have to re-thread them with new screws. 

I hope they enlarged this hole and the throttle knob, so the efficiency is better. The Gen 1's are a bargain at the moment, but I think I may wait for the Gen 2's as they offer quite a few advantages - larger shroud, picatinny rail top and bottom, regulator, AND higher power. The bottle versions should shoot all week without refilling... 

Does anyone know if it comes with any kind of moderator, or would I need to put a Huggit on it. Looking for something semi-short, as a good truck gun. 

I want to see some. 25 data first. 45-50 fpe would be great with a high shot count. I thought I read the moderator was included but on AOA website it is $99 addl 

i want one too, but which caliber? the brocock site states the .22 puts out 33fpe and the .25 40fpe. however as of yet, they don't have any info on shot count.

i wouldn't give up too many shots for a 7fpe increase. a shot count of 40 or more would seal the deal for .25.

Really surprised airgun manufacturers don't do follow up marketing after they announce a new product at a show. 

How hard would it be for them to provide a little real world info to keep the interest up.?

If you get the cerakote finish you're at 2k. If regular Daystate mags don't fit it? Then add another 90 bucks a mag. Looks like you're heading into high end land to me. Personally I like the gun but for that kind of money I myself will be waiting to see how much more the Red Wolf will be in grey laminate. I referenced the commander for the cerakote comment. The Bantam is a great value for the money. 

I just walked in and ordered one .22 from AOA..coming across the Pond now. week in customs then my hands.
AOA has .25's which I shot yesterday with and without a huggett. IMO its loud without moderator on it. It's $200 more for the Belita I ordered mine with. Extremely quiet with it on.
Granted. its .25. I also would not be happy with the male threads showing on end of barrel shroud without the Moderator on.
They also have developed a Tune and some type of Mod (not made public yet) that drastically increases shot count in .25 models. Of course I would have them do mine once its available. 
I am fortunate enough to live and work by AOA. For me it has all the bells and whistles.
