Anyone trying VarmintKnockers

Was looking for bullets that work in my Gauntlet & these fit the bill(the hollow base-like a pellet allows room for bolt probe) I got some 33 gr. that work well cycling thru my .25 clip & a quick chrony had them @ 820 fps. Due to snow, have not been able to test for accuracy, but will compare to 33.9 Jsb's as soon as I can. They are also available in .22. Found on E-Bay for $20 per 100 & quick delivery.

I rather use a .22 Rf.

Sure would be nice if one could easily get a firearm suppressor.

Until then, slugs are the next best option.

There are other issues, such as asking for permission to shoot on farms. Lots easier for the farmer to say yes when he asks what you shoot and you say "silenced precision pellet gun".

Here are two 22 caliber VK slugs, both 24gr, different profiles.

Try that on an average backyard ;)

22 sub Sonics are pretty quiet and accurate out of my cz 452 ultra lux. I think it has a 26 or 28 inch barrel, it’s quieter then my Beeman s1000 Springer. It would really surprise most people how quiet a 22lr can be with a longer barrel and subsonics.

I shoot his 24 grain .22 out of my jkhan @ 940 and they are very accurate. I also shoot his 33 grain @ 940 out of my armada and same accuracy as the 24 grain. Both have been accurate to over 1000 FPS. By accurate, 20 in a quarter size target at 90 yards with the 33, and 10 in a nickle at 50 with the 22. I shoot the bbt out of both guns but they require sizing and sorting.

Pretty sure is louder than my impact! but I get the point...Springers are loud indeed! jajaja ;)
