I can't be the first with the idea of adding an adjustable valve pin bumper to a Crown. Have any of you done this or tried to do it?
Anyone try using FX Impact Valve Bumper in a Crown?

I'm no expert but I don't think you can put one into the crown even if you try to mod, drill or whatever. The crown always have a port adjuster, reg adjuster, and hammer spring adjuster. Why would you need a fourth?

It's entirely possible. My real question is whether or not the mechanism is a 1:1 fit. I don't have the Impact anymore, but I have the Crown (two actually). I modified Ernest's brass hammer weight and want to fine tune my valve pin to have greater control over VDT.

Hey! not familiar with the Crown but if is possible then is possible, not sure about the use. The impact rod is about 30 cm + is long, so it might have a overtravel tendency, on the Crown on the other hand, donno, but if it have a rod, probably is much much shorter. I have read or heard that after finishing the impact 0.35, ER will be 100% on the crown...
